Day1 :Hanoi
Arrive in Noi Bai International Airport, Hanoi. Our guide will pick you up at the airport and take you to your hotel to do the check-in. The afternoon will be at your leisure. When the sun has set, a slap-up dinner will take place at a local restaurant to welcome you. In the evening, you will come to the theatre to watch the Water Puppet Show – a folk Vietnamese art performance with a history dating back to the 11th century. After the show, you will come back to the hotel for the first overnight stay in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi- Vientiane
After arrival at Vientiane Airport, you will meet up with your guide and transit to your hotel. Vientiane holds a different vibe from other capital cities. It appears to be much more tranquil and peaceful with large boulevards and rare traffic jams.
Today, you will travel to the famous Buddhist temples, namely Wat Sisaket, Wat Simuang, and Wat Prakeo. The trip also includes stops at the golden-covered That Luang Monument - a Laos’ national landmark and Patuxai (Victory Gate) resembling France’s worldwide famous Arc de Triomphe. The tour ends with a sumptuous dinner at a local restaurant before your free time to unwind and an overnight stay in your hotel in Vientiane.
Day 3: Vientiane city tour
Today’s excursion will take you to three famous Wats in Vientiane: Wat Si Saket - the world of tiny Buddha statues, Wat Si Muang - the “mother temple” of the city, and Wat Phra Kaew - the former home to the Emerald Buddha that is now the palladium of Thailand. Next, you will head to Pha That Luang, which is considered the symbol of this country, followed by a trip to the Patuxay war monument (Laos’ Arc de Triomphe). You will then dine out at a local restaurant before coming back to the hotel for an overnight stay there.
Day 4: Paske, Wat Phou, Don Khong
After breakfast, you will head for Khong Island and visit the pre-Angkorian ruins of Wat Phu, one of Southeast Asia's most dramatically situated temples. You will explore these Khmer ruins, perched atop a hill, and which are one of two Laos World Heritage Sites recognized by UNESCO in 2001. This wonderful archeological site dates back to the 9th Century. You will make your way past some of the 4000 islands in the region on your way to Don Khong for an overnight stay.
